How to get the seeds out (no water in a bowl) of a pomegranate in 10 seconds or less. Taking it apart in a bowl of water sucks, don't ever waste your time doing this again. Step 1: Score the pomegranate all around its circumference. Step 2: Pull the pomegranate apart. Be patient and try from all sides until its comes apart. This step is not entirely necessary, it only preserves the middle seeds. You can still cut it if you are short on tim,e but some of the seeds will be sliced in half. Step 3: Loosed the pomegranate a little by pulling on the edges. Step 4: Wack the rep side of the pomegranate with the seeds facing down with a kitchen spoon until all the seeds have emptied into a bowl. Step 5: remove any skin chunks and enjoy.

Given how close to the Equator the island of Singapore is, it's going to be pretty hot no matter what time of year you visit. Fortunately, air conditioning is very common in Singapore, and the locals won't think less of you for taking advantage of it--they do too. You should expect it to rain every day regardless of when you visit, but usually only in brief showers. The most rain will fall during the monsoon season, November through January.
  • How to Play with a Flatpick
    By: ARVC

This is a flat pick or a plectrum, and we use it in all kinds of styles of guitar playing, and especially in country music. We're playing country guitar and we want to get a nice rhythm going with this thing, so here's kind of the most basic rhythm you might do. So that was all downstrokes with a nice, heavy, flat pick. I'm using the point. Some people use the side, which gives it a little bit different sound. Maybe more string sound, less pick sound, but I kind of like hearing a little bit of pick sound. Gives a little bit of sparkle to what I might be strumming as far as chords go... .
  • What Is Carboxytherapy?
    FREE 0
The first time I heard about carboxy therapy, I didn't know what it was either. Actually, carboxy therapy is when a nurse, or a physician's assistant, injects your fat with carbon dioxide. The theory behind it is that if you inject your fat with carbon dioxide, what's the body going to do in response? Send more oxygen to the area. If we increase your circulation where your fat is, it's going to become healthier, less stagnate. You're going to move toxins away and water waste away. You'll eventually reduce the cellulite, or the appearance of such, in that area.
  • Do Cellulite Rollers Work?
    FREE 0
A lot of my clients ask me if they should get treatments with cellulite rollers and do they really work? It's important to know that cellulite rollers do work, but it's incredibly temporary. In other words, if you're going to do this kind of a treatment before a vacation and you know that it might not last after the vacation, then go for it. What they're really doing is using pressure with the rollers plus heat to loosen up your connective tissue in-between your fat cells. Therefore, hide the fat better. Push the fat out less, if you will. Like I said, It's very temporary. You are going to need more than one treatment even if you want to see a difference in the first place. It might not be the best thing if you're really trying to lose weight, or if you're looking for a long term solution.

what are the warning signs that your partner is cheating? Well, there are numerous ones and in our digital age, the first one would be cell phone or computer habits. If your partner used to put his cell phone in plain view and now hides it all the time, turns it off when you're around or puts it on silent, if he or she tends to put password now on his cell phone or computer or her, those are signs, of course, that something might be going on. The other sign is sexual cooling off, less sexual attention devoted to you.

One of the ways to become less jealous is to actually learn to visualize and imagine the relationship loss. Most people are very jealous because they think losing that relationship would be absolutely catastrophic, the end of the world. A lot of times like with treatments of any sort of anxiety or unfounded catastrophic beliefs we actually have people imagine what would it be like if that event took place. What people find is that loss of the relationship is not catastrophic. It's something they can survive and most will.

Insomnia can contribute and cause many health problems. Not only do anxiety and depression cause insomnia, but insomnia can also lead to anxiety and depression. So an extensive history by your physician is needed to determine what can what came first. Now, in terms of medical problems, insomnia can lower your pain threshold, so pain syndromes such as arthritis, do become worse. It can also cause weight gain because you are sleep deprived, essentially. It causes an imbalance of hormones to control your appetite, which are leptin and ghrelin. Ghrelin is a hormone that helps you feel hungry. Leptin is a hormone that helps you feel satisfied after meals. So you're more hungry and less satisfied after meals, so you tend to eat more. It can also alter your metabolism, so it is harder to lose weight if you do have insomnia.

How much sleep do adults need? This is a very hard question to answer. The average person needs about seven to nine hours of sleep and sleeping less than sleep hours and more than nine hours are associated with increased risk of mortality. Now, many people tell me that they get five or six hours and they're fine, but I tell them if they're waking up with the use of an alarm clock, then it means that they're not getting enough sleep. So I tell people the amount of sleep that they need is the amount of sleep that they get where they don't feel sleepy the next day.

    By: ARVC
    FREE 0
Hot stone massage therapy is the application of hot stones to the body when you are giving a massage. Typically the stones are basalt stones, which are river rocks, and once you apply the lotion to those stones they turn a nice beautiful black ebony color. Typically the stones are heated in a hot stone warmer, which is somewhat like a crock pot, up to about one hundred and forty five degrees, the lowest temperature that they normally are is one hundred and thirty five degrees, and it depends on the area of the body that your placing the stones, how hot you want them. On the extremities you typically want the stones a little bit cooler than, lets say, on the back or the feet you can handle a little bit more heat. Also, interestingly enough, often times fair skinned people can handle a little less heat that people with a little darker skin, or Mediterranean skin. So it's definitely important to check in with your client and figure out how much heat they like. At the end of the day hot stone massages are a really nice relaxing way for deep tissue to be delivered into the muscles or even lighter pressure, that heat really helps you access those muscles much faster, and it's a lovely, relaxing, therapy.
