His statistics surely are clearly noted. Then again, Messi happens to be way more crucial to Barcelona rather than merely numbers on pages.  His presence can make the whole defenses play wholly differently than they’d against other opponents. He has the capacity to pierce through with a skill which few others on the world of football have. No other guy is as crucial to his team's victory as Messi. There is no other footballer who creates so much success for his team. Messi is the best when he is at his gripping best.

Messi is amazing. But he scored in his 150th goal in league on March 17. Just three days later he got another hat-trick while playing against Granada. That is how he beat the club record of César Rodríguez’s – which was 232 goals. He also set his new personal top for one single campaign – we remember the 54 spectacular goals! On April 3, he managed to scores two ties in the quarter finals of Champions League against the formidable Milan (3-1). That is when he made a half century of great goals in that competition (the guy scored 50+ goals in just 66 games)!

Messi has a lot of strengths. But one of the most prominent ones among them is dribbling! If there is just one strength that singles out Messi from the other greats on earth, it surely is dribbling. Messi’s talent is not tied to the Season or a trophy from FIFA. He can score goals with a solid capacity to beat more than a few defenders and in succession. This makes this dude a truly talented and unique player. He is a blend of power, technique and speed to make his team shine among the champions – right on top. Although spectacular, you will have to admit that there isn’t anything ostentatious within Messi's dribbing. Pretty much unlike the other great Cristiano Ronaldo, he is not guilty of showcasing an attack featuring an orgy of crisscrossed stopovers. Messi makes lethally direct runs. Take a look at the classic move against Getafe!
