Pink Floyd as a band was lost after the never ending quarrels haunted the band for almost all of its life span. Starting from the very beginning, with Syd Barrett being erratic in nature and being irregular in performances, the reason why David Gilmour was chosen in the band in the first case, to the fight between David Gilmour and Roger Waters, which also featured the two other members of the group, Richard Wright and Nick Mason that finally resulted in the band breaking up. Still, in the reunion performance of the band of the song “wish you were here” proves that David Gilmour is still popular.
