Mel Gibson was born in Peekskill, New York City, on 3rd of January, in 1956. He grew up in a big and middle class of family. At age of 7 he and his family moved to Sydney, Australia because of War in Vietnam. In Australia he studied in catholic school where only boys were. His first seriously role was in film “Summer city” in 1977. In 1980 he won his first award by the film “Tim” Australian Film Institute Award in nomination “The Best Actor”. His next film “Mad Max” became successful and the first Australian film with huge box office of $100 million. In 1990 Mel Gibson released his first and debut film produced by himself of Icon Production is “Hamlet” and other films included “Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina” and “Immortal Beloved”. His successful time came with film “Brave Heart” about 13th century Scottish Sir William Wallace which brought to him 5 Oscars such as in nominations “The Best Picture” and “The Best Director”.
