Singer, songwriter and producer with unique and brilliant voice Aretha Franklin was born on 25th of March, 1942, in Memphis, Tennessee. She grew up in musician family. Her first performed was in Church where her father was preacher. When she was at 14 years old she had travelling tour with her father. She had a good experience such as she met legends of music such as Mahalia Jackson, Sam Cooke and Clara Ward. In 1960 she had contract with famous and successful label Columbia Records. She released her first album “The Great Aretha Franklin”. Her next song “A Never Loved A Man” included elements of different styles of music such as blues, rock, soul and gospel. This song became No. 10 at the hit charts. She is who won 18 Grammy Awards. After her very successful career she finally released her first album by her own label “A Woman Falling Out of Love”.
