The video explains the answer to a general and fundamental question of science; what are Metals? Basically metals are a group of elements possessing a special set of properties. The properties posses by all metals are the following. All metals tend to have a shiny and lustrous appearance. They can be stretched into wire, twisted into coil and hammered into sheets and foils. A metal atom consists of a central positively charged metal ion. Metals contain free electrons that can be stripped away. The presence of free electrons is a reason behind why the metals rust. All metals conduct heat and electricity and that too because of free electrons.
