Watching Sir Ken Robinson’s “changing Educational Paradigms” makes you wonder how successful the present day system of education is and whether it really benefits our children. There’s no doubt that the truly academic kids pass their exams and go on to high portals but what about the others? They may be as intelligent and brilliant in their own way but may not be passing exams in Math’s or science the way it’s taught in school. So what happens to these kids? They very wrongly believe they are not talented or capable which as you will see from Sir Ken’s video is very wrong and quite the opposite, but which sadly no one will realize until the way we think about schools and education is completely changed. This is a video that is definitely worth watching by everyone; parents, teachers, students and those in the higher echelons of education. I thought it was brilliant.
